Hello, hello, hello!
Welcome back to the #DreamTeam linky! Week three of Dawn from Rhyming with Wine and I guest co-hosting alongside lovely regular hosts Annette from 3 Little Buttons and Bridget from Bridie by the Sea, and finally – finally – we are on the last stretch before Christmas!
We’ve had most of our Christmassy outings now, and I’m kind of looking forward to a week of getting organised. By organised, I do of course mean finally getting those presents wrapped, and, of course, erm, a little spot of blogging here and there. And I actually have a couple of adult Christmas outings to look forward to this week too: after baby group parties and our NCT Christmas get together last week, I have also been able to enjoy work Christmas parties and I have my WI Christmas party this week too! Bring on the bubbly!!
Of course, these two events have made me choose my featured posts for this week with this in mind. Firstly, I’m going with When Rhyme Time Replaced a night out?! by Roots and Wings Parenting. As regulars at the library rhyme time throughout my maternity leave and even beyond, and as enthusiastic singers at both baby groups and indoors when it’s just the two of us, this really made me laugh!! I could soooo recognise myself in the mum that says to their baby “we like this one, don’t we?!” when in actual fact, what is meant is, “I like this one!”! The timing was perfect too, as at the aforementioned NCT party, the six Mummys broke into song to try to get the little ones to sit still for a photo!!

Secondly, I’ve chosen It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… by One Clueless Mumma. I’ve partly chosen this one because I love the wonderful Christmas memory that was created by Hayley’s parents, and also because I remember how special that last Christmas as a couple before Baby Lighty arrived felt. Enjoy, Hayley!
